  • While Waiting For Jesus (Pt.2) (357) – July 4 2026

To make a choice is to pick a side to stand on and then follow that choice up with the actions that support that choice. We must choose Jesus, then follow him. You can choose good or evil. Example, A person can choose the color red and not green. If every day they are wearing green, then their actions in their life support the green side. Even if they say with their mouth that they support Red. What are your actions saying about whether you serve the devil or serve the Lord? It doesn’t matter how a person appears, the words they say. It’s about what a person does in their life when no one is looking.

  • While Waiting For Jesus (356) – June 27 2026

The Lord Jesus is coming for a bride without spot or wrinkle. Those who are believers, walking in spirit and truth, must focus during these times on the Lord. It is important to see and identify people, places and things that are causing, distractions, chaos and confusion in your life. Those distractions may be people sitting next to you in church. They could be people living with you. You must decide if you and that person are on the same path and choose this day Whom you serve. For those easily influenced by others, or what is popular, you can lose track of why you are at church. For this reason, we must be focused on the Kingdom of God. Many distractions can occur. Time can be consumed on the wrong thing if you are not focused in the right direction and meeting with Jesus.

  • If Only We Knew How Good God Is (Pt.5) (355) – June 20 2026

This week concludes the series. Once we know even a part of how good the Lord is, how much He loves us, is Faithful and Trustworthy, we should conclude that there is no reason for us as believers in Jesus Christ to fear or be anxious about anything. We actually need to repent for being worried because what is not of faith is sin. (Romans 14:23).

  • If Only We Knew How Good God Is (Pt.4) (354) – June 13 2026

This week we cover the following verses that do not need any introduction.

    Titus 3:5
5 He saved us, not because of any works of righteousness that we had done, but because of His own pity and mercy, by [the] cleansing [bath] of the new birth (regeneration) and renewing of the Holy Spirit,

    Romans 5:1-3
1 Therefore, since we are justified ([a]acquitted, declared righteous, and given a right standing with God) through faith, let us [grasp the fact that we] have [the peace of reconciliation to hold and to [b]enjoy] peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed One).
2 Through Him also we have [our] access (entrance, introduction) by faith into this grace (state of God’s favor) in which we [firmly and safely] stand. And let us rejoice and exult in our hope of experiencing and enjoying the glory of God.
3 Moreover [let us also be full of joy now!] let us exult and triumph in our troubles and rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that pressure and affliction and hardship produce patient and unswerving endurance.

    Hebrews 13:5
5 Let your [a]character or moral disposition be free from love of money [including greed, avarice, lust, and craving for earthly possessions] and be satisfied with your present [circumstances and with what you have]; for He [God] [b]Himself has said, I will not in any way fail you nor [c]give you up nor leave you without support. [I will] not, [d][I will] not, [I will] not in any degree leave you helpless nor forsake nor [e]let [you] down ([f]relax My hold on you)! [[g]Assuredly not!]

  • If Only We Knew How Good God Is (Pt.3) (353) – June 6 2026

Let us thank the Lord today that His Word is not only forever settled in heaven (Ps 119:89), but it also purifies our soul.

Are you saved now? Are you one of God’s children? Do you remember, we were all once in darkness, in a filthy place, rolling around in sin like scarlet and crimson from Isaiah 1:18, we were like pigs in a pigsty. Filthy muddy from the bottom of our feet to the top of our head, enjoying the pleasures of our flesh, but seemingly lost. Never having experienced the cleansing power of the Love, Nature and the Blood of Christ Jesus, and how His Word is able to cleanse us of all of that filth. Even today, we are born again and we still make mistakes. It ‘s not the Lord’s will for us to keep sinning, His will is for us to be grow up into Christ. Being like Him by our obedience to His Word, to His commandments, and by the power of the holy Spirit we are transformed when we slow down and chew, meditate on His Word, according to Romans 12:1 and 2.

So if and when you slip up, and you feel dirty and guilty inside, in your soul, your mind, will and emotions…… let us read how the blood, the finished Works of Jesus, the Word of Life now benefits us when it comes to being set free from all sin and sickness. God has made provision by the blood of Jesus, the Word of God, the Word of Life, for us to be cleansed.

  • If Only We Knew How Good God Is (Pt.2) (352) – May 30 2026

We began last week to talk about reflecting on how Good God is, and how Good He is to us, in the face of us rebelling against Him as we trace back our original lineage to Adam and Eve and the decision that day at the tree of the knowledge of Good and evil, to reject the Lord and obey the devil (Genesis 3:6). This was the great fall of mankind, and the earth fell with us because we had been given dominion over it, and we gave it over to Satan in the great mistake.

  • If Only We Knew How Good God Is (Pt.1) (351) – May 23 2026

How Good is He? How GREAT is He? How wonderful and immense is His Grace, his undeserved favor for humanity. He loves and cares for the lost. He also loves and cares for those whom made him their Lord, and became His children. He rains on the just and unjust alike.
God’s kindness is intended to lead you to repent (to change your mind and inner man to accept God’s will) (Romans 2:4).

  • Have You Tried Everything Else? Try Getting To Know Jesus and Let Go of Idols (Pt.5) (350) – May 16 2026

Sometimes people can unknowingly be serving other gods and idols. How? By not taking the time to really know who Jesus is, and by continuing to serve a fake Jesus created in their own minds — shaped by popular opinions and false ideas about Him.

What do I mean by this? When our own desires become louder than Jesus — louder than truly knowing Him and obeying what the Lord says — that desire has become an idol.

Some people’s idea of Jesus is that He exists to do magic for them. That is what they are looking for. They live in a world where they go to people for magic in their lives, so when they come to Jesus, they expect the same thing. They don’t realize that magic is an evil thing. They hold on to the idea that everyone — including God — works like the idol they have created in their mind.

  • Have You Tried Everything Else (Idol Worship, Cont’d)? Now Try Jesus (Pt.4) (349) – May 9 2026

You might be thinking, why are we doing a part 4 on idol worship? Because it’s time to wake up to the reality of the things you are doing to yourself. Yes, there are things that the devil tries to do, but sometimes the enemy doesn’t even have to attack you because you are attacking yourself. Sabotaging yourself, feeding the darkness in your life yourself. Yes, you might be your own weapon formed against yourself.

  • Have You Tried Everything Else (Idol Worship)? Now Try Jesus (Pt.3) (348) – May 2 2026

Last week we left off talking about idols—specifically, how you cannot serve two masters, the results of worshipping idols, and removing idol worship from your life. It is important to really pay attention here. We can all overlook things that we think are not important. The key is that the things we think are not important may actually matter a great deal. We must train ourselves to see what Jesus thinks is important for us to have or not have in our lives. If we are the only ones evaluating our own lives, and we think we are perfect, we will likely never identify the issues and idols hidden there. Remember, if you want your life to follow Jesus, you need to become a disciple of Christ and do what He says. If you are not following Jesus and obeying all that the Bible says, then you are following idols. If you are not serving Jesus Christ, you are serving other idols. An idol can be anything that takes the place of God as the most important focus and priority in our life.
