For this week we are continuing with part 2 of the Power of Fasting and Prayer. This is for those who need breakthrough the biblical way.

This week we are talking about overcoming, through the power of doing the Lord’s fast and praying. We will discuss the benefits of fasting.

In Resist the Devil part 3 we discuss Scripture prerequisites that will help you resist the Devil. Prerequisites are smaller amounts of information that build a foundation to support bigger steps in believing in the Lord. When we see Jesus as a way of life, then our lives repel darkness. When we only visit Jesus, we will not see the full blessing unless we first submit to God.

In this week’s episode, we continue our discussion on resisting the devil so he will flee. This week, we focus on how Jesus resisted the devil. We also discuss some of the things Jesus left us to help us resist the devil. Jesus led by example when He became flesh and lived how we lived. Who better knows how to overcome evil than Jesus, who defeated the grave?

This week we will be talking about how to Resist the Devil and he will flee from you. How does resisting the devil improve your blessings? Any attacks you may be experiencing could be because you might not be hidden in Christ. In order to be hidden in Christ, you actually have to be in Christ. The presence of the Lord must be upon you in your every day lifestyle. A person must be submitted to God and not just visiting Jesus for a current problem.

This week we are speaking about the types of entitlement that could be in a person’s life. What happens when we are still behaving entitled as adults? When things in life do not go our way, are we taking things into our own hands and committing sin so we get what we want? How did the Lord deal with those who were entitled in the wilderness? Is someone you know only around because they feel entitled to get things from you and do not actually like you?

This week we are speaking about spoken words and actions, the power of words, word programming and agreement with words.
Proverbs 18 verse 21, says “Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and they who indulge in it shall eat the fruit of it [for death or life].”
We learn how important it is to become aware and sensitive to what we are speaking and what is being spoken to us.

This week we are speaking about self worth. By not knowing your self worth you can miss out on your blessings. Jesus found us worthy enough to die for. When a person does not know their self worth, they can be abused and devalued. Thankfully God made a way for those in Christ.

1 John chapter 5, verse 21 (AMPC) says “Little children, keep yourselves from idols (false gods)—[from anything and everything that would occupy the place in your heart due to God, from any sort of substitute for Him that would take first place in your life]. Amen (so let it be).”
If we are wondering what is keeping us from blessings, know that we need to love what God loves and remove what replaces Him in our lives. IDOLS, things you’re addicted to, and cannot stop worshipping, are what is keeping you from moving forward in Christ.

We all want to be on the best path in life. The Word of God, Jesus Himself, is The Way, The Truth and The Life. Without Him we can do nothing. Without Him we cannot be on the best path. The devil therefore lures us to more familiar activities and distractions. We get to choose what we should watch, listen to, and who to be around. Our soul is being affected in a positive or negative way, moment by moment every day.
