If the born again believer in Christ understands and believes in the variety of scripture that shows God’s divine protection for those that seek Him, then nothing shall by any means hurt that person. (see Luke 10:19). Where the believer runs into trouble is when he or she believes that generational curses can still connect to them and affect them. It is like anything in the Bible. It only comes true for the person reading, when that person finds out the truth and then decides to believe in it, taking every thought captive in obedience to Christ, and rejecting any false teachings, including on this topic of generational curses.

Most people do not want to declare their sins to God, much less to their family members. So what makes us believe that we would know our ancestor’s sin in order to break the generational curse?

This week we talk amongst other things about the importance of doing your own research in the Word of God; asking the Holy Spirit to guide you into the Truth and validate what you are hearing from ministers.

God has said the believer in Christ is blessed. He has not said they are cursed.

We will be studying the Word of God in order to show that it is not possible for a born again believer, a Christian, to have a generational curse.

Place your burdens upon the LORD for He cares for you and loves you! Trust in Him, because He is trustworthy and has never failed you. Those times you blamed Him. It’s ok. It wasn’t His fault, and He still loves you the same way before you blamed Him. He understands you. But He has been calling your name to draw closer to Him. Strive no more. Rest and ponder about Jesus. Rest and contemplate on His Word, which is His heart.
We are richly blessed to be called the sons and daughters of God. May we rejoice knowing our new identity in Christ. Let us be confident that He is forever by our side….
