Protection In JESUS

How does someone have protection according to the bible. Where the spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom, direction, protection, provision. Where the presence of the Lord is not, those people are outside of Jesus. Not because this is what the Lord Jesus wants. Its because the people have chosen not to be saved, serve Only Jesus and do all the bible says to do. When we make Jesus our Lord and savior, Christ dwells in us. We are covered by the Blood of Jesus. Meaning, the very act of Jesus dying on the Cross and paying for our sins, and shedding His blood for us, has saved us and set us free from the Kingdom of darkness. That is, those who make Jesus their Lord and Savior and Lice according to His word.

The presence of Jesus is upon those who are saved, live saved, daily spend time with the Lord, bible reading, bible studying, doing God’s word, and doing the Great Commission.  Mark 15 verse 15 to 17 – 15 And He said to them, Go into all the world and preach and publish openly the good news (the Gospel) to every creature [of the whole human race].

16 He who believes [who adheres to and trusts in and relies on the Gospel and Him Whom it sets forth] and is baptized will be saved [from the penalty of eternal death]; but he who does not believe [who does not adhere to and trust in and rely on the Gospel and Him Whom it sets forth] will be condemned.

17 And these attesting signs will accompany those who believe: in My name they will drive out demons; they will speak in new languages;

18 They will pick up serpents; and [even] if they drink anything deadly, it will not hurt them; they will lay their hands on the sick, and they will get well.

When this happens, Jesus visits them during these times. The more that person spends time with the Lord, the more God’s presence is upon them. James 4 verse 7 to 10 – 7 So be subject to God. Resist the devil [stand firm against him], and he will flee from you.

8 Come close to God and He will come close to you. [Recognize that you are] sinners, get your soiled hands clean; [realize that you have been disloyal] wavering individuals with divided interests, and purify your hearts [of your spiritual adultery].

9 [As you draw near to God] be deeply penitent and grieve, even weep [over your disloyalty]. Let your laughter be turned to grief and your mirth to dejection and heartfelt shame [for your sins].

10 Humble yourselves [feeling very insignificant] in the presence of the Lord, and He will exalt you [He will lift you up and make your lives significant].

This is not something a person can say a quick prayer for. The person needs to do the work. Its a required action of obedience to God’s word. Its either in a person’s life or its not.
