Debt, Things to Consider

Lord save them from themselves who have caused their own debt. Stop the toxic patterns of spending, borrowing what they don’t have. Lord teach them to do their part and seek your face. God open doors for financial opportunity but when they receive it teach them to do the right things with it. Lord thank you for blessing them with finances, wisdom to save, wisdom to repay debt, wisdom to make no more debt.

Romans 13 verse 8 – 8 Keep out of debt and owe no man anything, except to love one another; for he who loves his neighbor [who practices loving others] has fulfilled the Law [relating to one’s fellowmen, meeting all its requirements].

John 10 verse 10 – 7 So Jesus said again, I assure you, most solemnly I tell you, that I Myself am the Door for the sheep.

8 All others who came [as such] before Me are thieves and robbers, but the [true] sheep did not listen to and obey them.

9 I am the Door; anyone who enters in through Me will be saved (will live). He will come in and he will go out [freely], and will find pasture.

10 The thief comes only in order to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance (to the full, till it overflows).

Debt, we have all been there. It starts with needing something and not having money to do it. People then began to borrow, not save, not repay. All of this is where it starts and where it must be fixed.

We also must consider those who have fallen upon bad times due to job loss, health challenges, natural disasters. These people are not the same and need divine intervention. This comes when they begin to daily pray, daily bible read and believe that the Lord is working on their challenges and hardship. Without faith it is impossible to please God. Hebrews 11 verse 6– 6 But without faith it is impossible to please and be satisfactory to Him. For whoever would come near to God must [necessarily] believe that God exists and that He is the rewarder of those who earnestly and diligently seek Him [out]. This is not the same as those who are over spending, buying things to appear a certain way. Buying things while their family starves or betting, gambling money away.

It does still remain that each person needs to be faithful and honor what the Lord has given them, when they do obtain finances.

The actions that are needed. A person needs to fast and sacrifice by only getting needs and not wants. As they pray and seek the Lord, by faith believe, expect His hand to supply your needs. Remember be in Christ, saved, doing the work of the ministry of Jesus Christ. Pray for others as you would want to be prayed for.

So many people want a magic solution. They want the problem to go away. The problem, in some cases, are the people themselves and their spending habits. This problem won’t be fixed until the person causing the problem is fixed at the root.

Not everything is a prayer solution.

Somethings need prayer.  Somethings need bible wisdom; somethings need an action. Somethings need obedience to the word of God. Somethings don’t happen because those wishing are simply not saved, living saved, doing all the bible says to do in obedience, under Jesus Christ. Sin separates us from God. Let’s draw close to God and not do things to push Him farther away. Isaiah 59 verse 1 to3 – 59 Behold, the Lord’s hand is not shortened at all, that it cannot save, nor His ear dull with deafness, that it cannot hear.

2 But your iniquities have made a separation between you and your God, and your sins have hidden His face from you, so that He will not hear.

3 For your hands are defiled with blood and your fingers with iniquity; your lips have spoken lies, your tongue mutters wickedness.

Change

A person can pray all day but if that person continues to do the same thing, they get the same results. Change comes when a person actually changes. Change only comes when you read, do, live what the bible says and Jesus. When you live holy and righteous and are obedient to Gods Word, than change will come, if you are consistent and faithful. You must change your ways, thoughts, actions, life one step at a time by renewing your mind to the word of God and having discipline to fast spending addictions.

Debt

Debt is not completely a prayer thing but obedience to God’s Word and wisdom. Those who are addicted to spending and borrowing continue to make the same choices and get in more debt. It’s time to change the pattern of bad decisions and choosing to spend what you don’t have. This is something you did to yourself not something someone did to you. Acknowledge your part and then begin the process of change. change comes when a person changes their actions, their mind, their heart.

Every response is coming from Bible scripture for those saved or looking to be serving only Jesus. This is if you’re looking for the Lord to help you, you must first help yourself and desire salvation. Not for money but to make better life decisions. God removes debt by a person learning to not spend and control their needs. Then He can be blessed with more.

Debt is a spending addiction of what someone doesn’t have. Debt is not something someone has done to you. Debt is a choice a person has made over and over again. Jesus wants to help you to make better choices going forward. An example of that is get a smaller place. Pay back your debt with the money from getting smaller place. Focus on needs and not wants. This decision of debt is made when people lack Bible wisdom, and so they lack the Lord in their lives. They need to not just visit Jesus for problems but live a lifestyle, daily, only serving Jesus.

Thank you, Lord, for opening their eyes to the truth. Lord have mercy upon them as they turn and seek your face daily.

If you have come to this ministry to seek Jesus, the kingdom of God, righteousness than you can find that. If you have come to seek something separate from the Lord Jesus, that’s not here. God can’t lead you to a better life if you’re only interested in Him and being saved. A person must seek the kingdom of God first, then righteousness and all these things shall be added unto them. Matthew 6 verse 33

Secondly, starting with the truth always helps. Admitting your part, in creating debt, spending what you don’t have, that’s just bad decisions not something happening to you. This is something someone chose to do to themselves.

You want to be in relationship with only Jesus and be saved All who seek the Lord must each decide separately to do so. God’s kingdom is not a wish list but a lifestyle of obedience to His word. When you’re in relationship with the Lord, and desire to know the truth about something, you can read the Bible. Daily bible read, daily pray, daily do what the Bible says to do. This is how to ask the Lord, to be in fellowship with Him.

When you daily pray, read the word, do the word, talk to God, He hears your prayers. You build a relationship, get to know Him and His voice. Once you know and hear His voice, you can hear His direction for you. If you want God to hear you, build a relationship with Him. Treat Him like a friend, and visit more often. Let your life be marked by how you live. If someone is evil than that’s what is in their life. If your living holy and doing all the bible says, then that’s what will be in your life.

We are not financial advisers or financial institution. We can tell you that finances are not a prayer thing but actual obedience to the word. This means you have to actually be reading the Bible daily, praying, and doing what it says. For example, the Bible says owe no man, do not be in debt. Romans 13 verse 8 – 8 Keep out of debt and owe no man anything, except to love one another; for he who loves his neighbor [who practices loving others] has fulfilled the Law [relating to one’s fellowmen, meeting all its requirements].

Those who have been reading the Bible were not creating debt and now, try not spend what they don’t have.  They understand that Proverbs 22:7

[7] The rich rule over the poor, and the borrower is servant to the lender. This is how Jesus works.   It’s a lifestyle commitment that guides you so you don’t make bad choices. Many look to the Lord, have no relationship desire to do right and want magic. When you contemplate the truth of scripture the Lord can prevent problems for those who walk in obedience to the Bible. Trust the Lord with your problems. Let go of them and give them to him. Only then can he help you.

The more you focus on Jesus the problems you have become less important in comparison. This is the beginning of peace in Christ.

Thank you, Lord, that they are saved and live a lifestyle of doing what the bible says. Thank you, Lord, that they are in relationship with you so you can hear their prayers. Thank you, Lord, that they hear your voice from daily reading your word and praying. Thank you, Lord, that as they commit to you in all their ways you can direct their path as they trust you with all their heart.

Solutions you might not want to hear. These things are not forever but to reset your debt to “$0.00” while you pray and your actions start to line up with the word. God does do miracles but you must be doing your part regardless of when the miracle comes.

You will need to sell things. Downsize your home to smaller. Get creative while looking for a job. Start a business that has no start up fees. Cleaning, cooking, sewing, washing clothes, ideas to just start making money. Why, because in some place’s debt collectors hurt people. It is better to be poor and have peace, then to live in a palace with stress, fear, anxiety, no rest, and exhausted holding on to material things. Amen?
