Why Do Bad Things Happen to Good People? (Pt.6) (284) – February 8 2025
God has replaced the fallen spirit with a new regenerated one. God continues to transform the new believer’s heart based on the will of the person.
God has replaced the fallen spirit with a new regenerated one. God continues to transform the new believer’s heart based on the will of the person.
The supernatural transformation of a fallen man into a child of God as man turns to God and away from evil.
Only the utterly undeserved suffering and sacrifice of our Lord Jesus could rescue unbelievers out of the powers of darkness and blindness.
We begin this week by asking who should define what and who is ‘good’.
This week, we focus on Genesis chapter 3, on the very moment mankind makes a tragic misstep, rejecting God and obeying Satan for the very first, but sadly not only time.
When a tragedy occurs, on the surface, one might ask “God, why if you are good, and so loving, would you allow this to happen?” In this series we will discover there is much to understand beneath this surface, including the difference between man and God’s definition of “Good”.
The key to moving forward is a spiritual path. Why? Because of 2 Corinthians 5 verse 7 “For we walk by faith [we regulate our lives and conduct ourselves by our conviction or belief respecting man’s relationship to God and divine things, with trust and holy fervor; thus we walk] not by sight or appearance.”
