God is so good. His mercy and loving kindness endures forever (Psalm 136), and when you believe in Him you find that He is still very much around us, pointing out to us people who we need to love on. Yesterday was no exception. At the end of the 1pm service at church, the band,…
In this week’s program on your Identity in Christ, we teach on Galatians chapter 5, verse 1 (ESV):
— For freedom Christ has set us free; stand firm therefore, and do not submit again to a yoke of slavery.
How precious was, and is the blood of Christ, the perfect sacrifice for us, the undeserving human race. The finished works of our Lord include our release from being slaves to sin, sickness and disease and all works of the enemy (devil). How important is it now, then, to realize this Truth, and to believe and act free, and not to continue to be enslaved to the ways of our old father, the devil Satan.
We Don’t Deserve Anything From God! I have a lot to thank God for. Just one example is what he said (through another believer) to me on a couple of topics when I first received salvation through Jesus in 2009. “It’s not about you. It’s about you being on the team.” This is what the…
When the enemy shall come in like a flood the Spirit of the Lord will lift up a standard against him and put him to flight (Isaiah 59:19 AMPC – Punctuation removed) Isaiah 59:19 includes the words ‘….When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the Lord will lift up a…
This program is best described by simply quoting the scriptures discussed in Ephesians 1 verses 17 to 21: 17 [For I always pray to] the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, that He may grant you a spirit of wisdom and revelation [of insight into mysteries and secrets] in the [deep and intimate] knowledge of Him, 18 By having the eyes of your heart flooded with light, so that you can know and understand the hope to which He has called you, and how rich is His glorious inheritance in the saints (His set-apart ones), 19 And [so that you can know and understand] what is the immeasurable and unlimited and surpassing greatness of His power in and for us who believe, as demonstrated in the working of His mighty strength, 20 Which He exerted in Christ when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His [own] right hand in the heavenly [places], 21 Far above all rule and authority and power and dominion and every name that is named [above every title that can be conferred], not only in this age and in this world, but also in the age and the world which are to come.
One of the key verses for the believer, now a new creation in Christ, is found in 2 Corinthians 5:17 – Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.
How do we keep the old that has passed away from becoming resurrected?
I’m willing to participate in this ONLINE WEEKLY SERVICE
We look forward to having you there Paul!
